I don’t usually start my posts with an apology, but…this brownie was so good that I actually forgot I was planning to take a photo of it before eating it. Sorry! But you can go make your own, and then you’ll know what it looks like!
Mug brownies are so unbelievably easy to make. If you’ve never made one before, you will be AMAZED. If you don’t have peppermint extract, just leave it out; you’ll have a perfectly good chocolate chip brownie.
This is what you do:
Mix 4 tablespoons flour, 4 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt in your mug.
Add about 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 1 1/2 tablespoons water, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract.
Stir it all up really well.
Add as many chocolate chips as you think it should have!
Microwave for 1 minute at full power.
Take a minute to be in absolute awe of what just happened.
